My own 16-month breastfeeding experience was transformative. It wasn't just about feeding; it was about connection, challenges, and immense growth. This journey inspired me to delve deeper, leading me to formal education and the creation of Guided Roots Lactation. I wanted all moms to have access to lactation help that felt warm, comfortable and personal without having to leave the comfort of their own home during such a vulnerable season.
